I look back on conversations with my girlfriends, and while we spend a
considerable amount of time talking about the guys we’re involved with, I
can’t say that we go into all the nitty-gritty details of our love lives.  We
discuss the big issues, certainly—mostly to get other opinions on the
matter.  But guys, you have to realize that
individuals make up the group.  I
constantly get into arguments with my girlfriends.  I don’t have the same
opinions, outlooks, dreams, goals, finances, etc as they do.  How about,
instead of running away from this apparent force, you take the time to
pursue and woo the woman of your choice?  I wonder if these men realize
that a woman in love is generally blinded to everything and everyone that
isn’t about her man.

I believe a sophisticated lady, even while being joined-at-the-hip with her
circle of friends, can effectively balance the different aspects of her life.  A
woman should be able to coordinate and share her time between her family,
her friends, her significant other, her work, her extracurricular activities, and
herself.

Yes, I have my friends who I confide in, but what is so wrong with having
your very own support group?
